Man, 40, Found Dead In Wooded Area In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. – A man was found dead in a wooded area behind 29 Chestnut St. Sunday afternoon, according to the Yonkers Police Department. Detective personnel say the death of the 40-year-old man does not seem suspicious at this time, and is pending further investigation and an autopsy. The incident is being classified as an open death investigation, and the deceased’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
