Putnam Sheriff Searches For Man Wanted For Bail Jumping PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Alberto J. Santiago, 48, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, DWI and bail jumping. A Putnam County superior bench warrant was issued Sept. 4, 1997, and a bench warrant was issued Oct. 24, 1997, to answer to the charges. If anyone has any information as to Santiago’s whereabouts, contact the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department at (845) 808-4357.

Norwalk Transfer Station Will Close July 4 NORWALK, Conn. – Garbage and recycling services will run a normal schedule for the rest of the week through July 3 in Norwalk. The Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent Street, and the yard debris site, located at 15 South Smith Street, will be open during regular business hours. The Norwalk Transfer Station and the yard debris site will both be closed Saturday, July 4, and will re-open for regular business hours Monday, July 6.
