Antonette M. Doddo, 105, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – Antonette M. Doddo, 105, wife of the late Patsy J. Doddo, died Friday, Aug. 7.
She born July 10, 1910, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Geneva (Barber) Gilbertie.
In addition to her husband, Patsy, of 65 years, she was predeceased by her daughter Angela M. Doddo, a sister and a brother.
She was a lifelong resident of Westport and worked in the Westport Schools cafeteria and for the Burndy Corp. She was a member of Assumption Church in Westport and the Catholic Daughters.

William John Domonkos, 87, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – William John Domonkos, 87, of Norwalk, died Friday, Aug. 7.
He was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Norwalk. He was married to Marion (Lengyel) Domonkos from Sept. 1957 until her death in Dec. 2003.
He spent his early career at the Hat Corporation of America, where he was a colorist, and then worked for Hatch and Bailey at the service counter until his retirement. He was a talented woodworker and loved watching baseball, golf and working around his home.
He is survived by his sisters Elizabeth Brown, Jolana Kish and Veronica Selwitz, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mary Virginia Spriggs Givens, 77, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – Mary Virginia Spriggs Givens, 77, of Norwalk, died Friday, Aug 7 at Norwalk Hospital.
Born Oct. 31, 1937, in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Aleatha Spriggs. She was a lifelong resident of Norwalk, graduated from Norwalk high School and was a lifelong member of Bethel A.M.E Church. She then went on to own a restaurant with her husband.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Canty and Michele Givens; two sisters of Norwalk; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

NORWALK, Conn. – Patricia (Pat) Zakhar, 73, of Norwalk, died Friday, Aug. 7.
Zakhar was born in New York Jan. 11, 1942, daughter of the late Austin and Katherine (Fox) Gehan.
She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1959 and Danbury State Teacher’s College. At the beginning of her career, she worked as a teacher for the Norwalk Public School system. She moved on to work for the Norwalk Tax Assessor’s office after raising two children and retired from there. WESTPORT, Conn. – Kathleen (Kitty) E. H. Todd, 91, of Westport, wife of the late James T. Todd, died Friday, Aug. 7.
She was born Oct. 13, 1923, in White Plains, New York, and was the daughter of the late Haswell and Anais (Haase) Herbert. She moved to Westport in 1933 and was a 1942 Staples High School graduate. After high school, she attended Antioch College in Ohio. She worked at Bridgeport Brass Company, where she was the first female tool setter. She also worked at the Westport Police Department as a bookkeeper and secretary from 1972 until her retirement in 2007.
