Somers High School Invites Parents To Meet Its Coaches SOMERS, N.Y. – Somers High School invites parents to come meet its coaches Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. Parents of student athletes and coaches can meet and talk about the 2015-16 sports year. The meeting will be held in the Somers High School new gymnasium. Somers High School fall sports begins Monday, Aug. 17.

Lois (Rogers) Manning, 83, Of New Rochelle NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Lois (Rogers) Manning, 83, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Friday, Aug. 7. She was the daughter of the late Russell G. and Florence M. Rogers. She was born in New Jersey July 2, 1932, and lived in Teaneck before moving to Binghamton, New York. She later moved to New Rochelle as a teenager where she resided for the remainder of her life. She graduated from New Rochelle High School, where she also met her husband, Joseph.
