Kevin S. Redmond, 52, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Kevin S. Redmond, 52, of Bridgeport, husband of Carol Grabowski, died Friday, Aug. 7.
Redmond was born Sept. 27, 1962, in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Mildred (Schmidlin) Redmond, and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a truck driver by trade, an avid Washington Redskin fan and loved canoeing, camping and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his son, Kevin Redmond; 10 siblings; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers and a brother-in-law.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Martha Fazekas, 100, of Bridgeport, wife of 65 years to the late Sigmund Fazekas, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015.
Born April 26, 1915 in Bridgeport to the late Stephen and Josie (Yankovska) Nowakowski, she attended school at St. Michael's in Bridgeport and became a longtime parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for GE and was a member of their Red Cross. She later retired from the accounting department of Howland's Department Store.

WESTPORT, Conn. – Lifelong Westport resident Everett “Bud” Frey, 74, husband of the late Sharon Frey, died Thursday, Aug. 6.
He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, the son of Everett and Helen Frey. He grew up in Westport and graduated from Staples High School in 1959. He was a 1963 graduate of Providence College and received his master’s in business administration from Boston College.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Belle G. Miller, 95, of Stamford, died Sunday, Aug. 9.
Miller was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Max and Betty Geller. She graduated from James Madison High School and attended Brooklyn College. She married her husband, Arthur A. Miller, Jan. 1, 1942. He predeceased her in 2004.

Born Feb. 23, 1929, he was the son of the late Leo and Marguerite O’Keefe Ryan. He was a graduate of Roger Ludlow Jr. High and a graduate of Norwalk High School, class of 1947, where he served as class president for both schools. Two Charged After Lake Peekskill Robbery
LAKE PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Two men were arrested Saturday in the robbery of a laptop, iPad and tools from a motor vehicle in Lake Peekskill, according to New York State Police.
Eric Miller, 27, of Putnam Valley, New York, and Michael Federici, 27, of Yorktown, New York, were charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony.
An investigation by state police determined that the two men were responsible for the theft. The majority of the property was recovered from Miller's residence in Lake Peekskill.
