Eileen Fernandez, 76, Of Dobbs Ferry DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Eileen Fernandez, 76, of Dobbs Ferry, died Sunday, Aug. 23. She is survived by a son, Bill (Sue) Fernandez; a grandson; and a sister. She was predeceased by a son Glenn, and a brother. Visiting hours will take place Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry.  Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Fire Department.

The gala, which is sold out, will raise funds for the children’s library. The Mount Vernon Public Library has been serving the public for more than 160 years. It is the largest library in Westchester County and the sixth largest library within New York State. Stamford Woman Accused Of Keying 'Wore' On Car In Misspelling STAMFORD, Conn. – A Stamford woman who thought her boyfriend was cheating with her girlfriend was arrested and accused of vandalizing both of their cars on Aug. 7, reports the Stamford Advocate. Shannon Csapilla, 20, was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal mischief for keying and puncturing tires on two cars.  Keyed into the female’s car was, “wore,” which police believed was meant to spell, “whore,” leading them to Csapilla, according to the report.
