Richard A. Bargellini, 89, Of Eastchester
EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Richard A. Bargellini, 89, of Eastchester, died Tuesday, Aug. 25.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1925, to Eugene and Elvira Bargellini. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a firefighter in Pelham for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Bargellini; children Richard Bargellini, Kelly Pape; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sons Stephen and Robert Bargellini, three sisters and one brother.

Former Port Chester Resident Dies In Mountain Climbing Accident
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – A former Port Chester native fell to her death with a climbing partner Saturday morning in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, reports lohud.com.
Catherine Nix, 28, formerly of Port Chester, died with 27-year-old Tyler Strandberg, who hailed from Raleigh, N.C.,, after falling approximately 200 feet while climbing Teewinot Mountain, according to the report.
A third member of the climbing party, Rebecca Anderson, 26, was rescued by helicopter, according to the report.

Celine LaFleur McCarthy, 75, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – Celine LaFleur McCarthy, 75, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, Aug. 25.
She was born in Springfield, Mass., on April 12, 1940, to Edna Mae (Charest) and Irving LaFleur and was raised in Agawam, Mass.
She graduated from Agawam High School in 1957, and then from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1960, where she became a certified registered nurse, beginning her career.
