Norwalk Woman Charged With Drunken Driving In Westport Crash WESTPORT, Conn. – A Norwalk woman wanted in connection with a drunken-driving crash in Westport turned herself in to police Tuesday after learning there was a warrant issued for her arrest, according to Westport police. Jacqueline Hernandez, 33, was wanted on an arrest warrant stemming from a motor vehicle accident that happened in the early morning of Sunday, July 19, in Westport, police said.  Both Hernandez and the passenger were taken to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation after the accident, police said. Lena Delor, 90, Of Stamford STAMFORD, Conn. – Lena Delor, 90, a longtime resident of Stamford, died Sunday, Aug. 23 at St. Camillus Health Center. She was born in Nisko, Poland, Dec. 17, 1924, to the late Pioter and Francesca Dabek. She met and married Kazimierz Delor, in 1948 in Poland. Shortly after, they came to the U.S. and settled in Stamford. She worked for many years as a seamstress for B&S Coat Factory, which later became Carelton Coat Company. After her retirement, she spent her time tending to her home and family. Her husband died in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Irene Delor, of Stamford. …

Tina, who lives at 18 Stevens Ave., says his neighbor, Sheldon Gardner, refused to put up a fence when Tina first moved to his residence 15 years ago. Ridgefield Rec Center Holding Dream Big Festival For Young Girls RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The Ridgefield Recreation Center is hosting the Dream Big Festival for girls ages 8-17 Friday, Aug. 28, from 6-8 p.m. The festival is a free activity night of empowerment for young girls. There will be sessions in goal setting, sharing dreams, finding inner serenity, yoga and Zumba. Girls will have the opportunity to meet new friends and learn more about their inner selves.
