Lena Delor, 90, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Lena Delor, 90, a longtime resident of Stamford, died Sunday, Aug. 23 at St. Camillus Health Center.
She was born in Nisko, Poland, Dec. 17, 1924, to the late Pioter and Francesca Dabek. She met and married Kazimierz Delor, in 1948 in Poland. Shortly after, they came to the U.S. and settled in Stamford.
She worked for many years as a seamstress for B&S Coat Factory, which later became Carelton Coat Company. After her retirement, she spent her time tending to her home and family.
Her husband died in 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Irene Delor, of Stamford.

Putnam's Collaborative Concepts Farm Project Celebrates 10th Anniversary
GARRISON, N.Y. – Sculpture, performance art, theater and music mix it up at Saunders Farm in Garrison for the 10th anniversary of the Collaborative Concepts Farm Project, which opens Monday, followed by an opening reception Saturday, Sept. 5.
At the reception, a program of performance art will be presented from 2-6 p.m. in the fields, and music will be presented on stage from 3:30-6 p.m. – bring a picnic and blanket. A rain date will be Sunday, Sept. 6.

Jeffrey Nadro Sr., 64, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Jeffrey Robert Nadro Sr, 64, a longtime resident of Stamford, died of cancer, Saturday, Aug. 22, at Stamford Hospital.
Born Jan. 31, 1951, to Katherine Syring Nadro and Stanley Nadro, Nadro moved to Norwalk as a child but returned to Stamford for the past 39 years, where he raised his seven children and built his business, Nadro Plumbing and Heating, .
He was an avid fisherman, gun hobbyist and lover of nature. As a plumber who apprenticed as a young teen, he took his skills and served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Seabee during the Vietnam War.

Paulina Eaton, 69, Formerly Of Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Paulina Mansfield Eaton, 69, of Norfolk, Va., died Monday, Aug. 24.
She grew up in Pittsfield, Mass., and graduated from Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield and Everest College in Chesapeake, Va. She went to work in New York City, where she met her husband. They lived in Fairfield, Conn., with their children. Most recently, she worked at the UPS Center in Norfolk.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Eaton Thompson; David DeForest Eaton (Norhizan); Elizabeth Eaton Milone (Joseph); and Deborah Eaton; and seven grandchildren.
