Jennie Capozziello, 87, Of Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Jennie Penna Capozziello, 87, of Fairfield, wife of the late Alberico Capozziello, died Saturday, Oct. 17.
Capozziello was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. She was a former employee at Norden Systems.
She is survived by her two sons, James Capella of Fairfield; and Charles Capozziello (Mary Ellen) of Tampa, Fla.; one sister of Trumbull; two granddaughters of Stratford and Tampa, Fla.; three great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Carol Ann Duffy, 58, of Bridgeport, the wife of Frank Duffy, died Thursday, Oct. 15.
Duffy was born in Bridgeport to Janet (Cseesh) Coolis and the late Joseph Coolis and had been a lifelong city resident. She was a file maintenance clerk for more than 40 years with Stop & Shop, a member of the Juliette Low Society of Girl Scouts of America, Girl Scout Leader Troop 30228, Cub Scout Den Leader for St. Peter's School Pack 12 and a committee member of BSA Troop 75 St. James Church.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Vasilios Hasiotis, 79, of Fairfield, husband of 52 years to Niki Psarofagis Hasiotis, died Sunday, Oct. 18.
Born in Katerini Greece, he was the son of the late Constantinos and Anastasia Bletsos Hasiotis. A resident of Fairfield for more than 35 years, he was the former proprietor of Cindy's Luncheonette in Fairfield and Tommy's of New Haven.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Athanasios Hasiotis (Vicky) of Trumbull; Anastasia Papanikolaou (Ilias) of Trumbull; Eleni Kasparis (Kosta) of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. …
Sale Of Six Westchester A&P Stores Approved
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – A judge approved the bankruptcy sales of six Westchester County A&P supermarkets Friday, reports lohud.com.
Four stores will continue to operate as grocery stores, including the A&P in Mount Kisco, which will turn into a Stop & Shop, according to the report.
The sales included stores in Bedford, Port Chester, Harrison, Mount Kisco, Yonkers and Mamaroneck, reports lohud.
