Bridgeport Woman Charged With Trying To Steal Ambulance BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Bridgeport woman was arrested Saturday on charges of trying to hijack an ambulance, reports the Connecticut Post.com. Kashunda Gandy, 35, of State Street, was charged with breach of peace after she jumped into the front seat of the ambulance while EMTs were taking care of a patient in the back of the vehicle, according to the report. In her early years, she had to manage and run Vic’s Luncheonette on First Street in East Norwalk while her husband, Victor, was serving in the Korean War. Following the war, she was employed at Voltarc Tubes and Electric Regulator.  For many years, she was a volunteer for the Family & Children Services.
