Dutchess Teen Charged In Fatal Hit-And-Run RHINEBECK, N.Y. – A Rhinebeck man has been charged in connection with the July death of 20-year-old Pleasant Valley resident Dylan D. Feller, reports the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Brandon A. Riccobono, 18, surrendered himself to the sheriff’s office Thursday after a grand jury handed down an indictment for Riccobono Nov. 5, according to officials. Riccobono is accused of recklessly causing Feller’s death while attempting to escape a bad drug deal on Livingston St. in Rhinebeck July 6. Briarcliff Students Tackle Circus Tricks BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. – The National Circus Project recently visited Todd Elementary School in Briarcliff Manor to show students how to learn the skills of circus performers. Briarcliff Manor’s youngest students practiced their circus tricks as part of the National Circus Project’s annual trip to the school. Classmates Honor New City Girl Killed In Drunk Driving Crash NEW CITY, N.Y. – The classmates of Larisa Karassik honored her memory Thursday by wearing blue on what would have been her 14th birthday, reports lohud.com. Repair Work Closes I-87 Lanes In Rockland SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. – The New York State Thruway Authority will close all three highway speed E-ZPass lanes at the Spring Valley toll barrier (I-87 northbound between exits 14A and 14B) starting Thursday at 11 p.m. for repair work. They will remain closed through Friday at 5 a.m. Tolls at this plaza are collected from commercial vehicles only. In case of inclement weather, work may be postponed. The Thruway Authority will activate Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM to advise motorists of the closure.
