PARAMUS, N.J. – Raffaela Olivari (neé Agnello), 87, of Paramus, died Sunday, Nov. 15.
Before retiring, she worked for Bergen Drapery in Ridgefield as a manager. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Paramus.

Stars Fight Hunger With 'Empty Bowls Westchester'
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The star-studded Empty Bowls Westchester event to end hunger in Westchester County will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the Whippoorwill Club in Armonk.
The celebrity bowl auction, hosted by Chappaqua Cares, will feature signed bowls by Billy Joel, Christie Brinkley, Phil Simms, Bryant Gumbel and Guy Fierri, among others. Michael Psilakis, chef and owner of MP Taverna and Food Network personality, will serve as "Soup Chef" at the fundraiser.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Louise Bateman (neé) Furno, 92, of Ridgewood, died Monday, Nov. 9.
Born in West Nyack, N.Y., Bateman had been a resident of the Village of Ridgewood for 68 years.
She was the owner of Shera Corporation in Ridgewood, had been a professional seamstress for more than 30 years and was the inventor of the Bake-In Pie Spatula. She was a former member of the Brownstone Quilters, was an outstanding artist of paintings, ceramics and crafts and was a devoted animal lover.
