WILTON, Conn. –The Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation will host a private access tour of five historic buildings on the Wilton Historical Society's campus led by Wilton architect Rob Sanders this Saturday. ARMONK, N.Y. – The Bristal Assisted Living in Armonk recently celebrated the 101st birthday of resident Eva Ranucci. She is loved for her friendly, social and positive persona. Ranucci enjoys singing, dancing and the arts. She is known for saying “to live your life because it is waiting for you.” Ranucci is a former resident of Scarsdale. The Bristal at Armonk is an assisted and independent living community that offers memory care support as well as enhanced levels of care. Briarcliff Manor Businesses Evacuated After Carbon Monoxide Scare
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Businesses on Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor closed briefly Thursday morning because of a carbon monoxide scare, reports News 12 Westchester. Fire officials responded to carbon monoxide activations and fire alarms at around 10:30 a.m. after fumes from a gas-fueled power washer filtered into businesses, according to the report. Iona College Students Honor Paris Victims With Candlelight Vigil
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Approximately 200 students of various religious backgrounds at Iona College gathered for a candlelight vigil on campus Monday to honor the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks, reports News 12 Westchester.
