Grace E. Finnerty (Marchak), 86, Of Rivertowns RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. – Grace E. Finnerty (nee Marchak) of Hastings, 86, formerly of Yonkers, died Sunday, June 28. She was born March 22, 1929, to Joseph and Emma (Briskovich) Marchak in Yonkers, where she was raised. She graduated from Gorton High School and the Cochran School of Nursing. Finnerty was a registered nurse and worked in the labor and delivery department at St. John's hospital for over 30 years. She retired in 1992. On May 3, 1952, she married William K. Finnerty in Most Holy Trinity Church. He died July 7, 2007. She is survived by her seven children, daughters Leslie, Dore…

She was born in Peekskill Jan. 8, 1928, to Margaret and Arthur Grab. She attended local area schools and was a graduate of Peekskill High School. On July 18, 1953, she married Charles B. Gallagher at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. He predeceased her in October 1996. Stephen David Mignotte, 54, Of White Plains WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Stephen David Mignotte, 54, of White Plains, formerly of Peekskill, died Monday, June 29. Born July 22, 1960, he was the son of David and Yvonne (nee Garay) Mignotte. He worked for 19 years as a nuclear plant operator at the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant in Buchanan, New York. At that time, he was the youngest certified nuclear plant operator in New York State. He is survived by his father, David Mignotte; two brothers; one aunt; and two cousins. Restaurateur Found Guilty Of Forcibly Touching Waitress CARMEL, N.Y. – Restaurant owner Lani Zaimi was found guilty of forcibly touching the intimate parts of a female waitress in his restaurant in January 2014, according to the Putnam County district attorney’s office. Zaimi is owner of the former Ariano’s Restaurants in Carmel and Mahopac. The jury took three hours to deliberate before returning its verdict in a trial in which testimony included the victim and five witnesses. Judge James T.
