Born April 18, 1941 in Akron, Ohio, he was son of the late Wayne Bennett and Edna Allen Bennett Ovellette. He moved to Norwalk as a child and worked for SNET as a supervisor for many years. After retirement, he started his company Low Voltage Systems and also restored classic cars. He was very proud of his American Indian Heritage. DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – A man who was found unconscious in a pool at a home on Northfield Avenue Friday afternoon was pronounced dead at St. John’s Riverdale Hospital has been identified, reports lohud. Authorities arrived at the house just before 1 p.m. and tried to revive Laurence Deery, 69, according to the report.
