NORWALK, Conn. – Wayne A. Bennett, 74, husband of Louise A. Palumbo Bennett, died Friday, June 26.
Born April 18, 1941 in Akron, Ohio, he was son of the late Wayne Bennett and Edna Allen Bennett Ovellette. He moved to Norwalk as a child and worked for SNET as a supervisor for many years. After retirement, he started his company Low Voltage Systems and also restored classic cars. He was very proud of his American Indian Heritage.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Marie "Babe" D. Fensore Mercaldi, 93 of Bridgeport, wife of the late Peter F. Mercaldi, Sr., died Tuesday, June 23 in St. Vincent's Medical Center.
Born in Bridgeport April 27, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Marie Kelly Fensore. She was a Bridgeport resident most of her life, residing the last two years at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center in Stratford, Connecticut, where she was affectionately known as "Miss Hollywood." She was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy W.A.V.E.S. at Vero Beach, Florida.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Emelia B. Osowski, 99, of Fairfield, wife of the late William Osowski, died Wednesday, June 24 at Middlebrook Farms in Trumbull, Connecticut.
Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Bisiewicz, she had been a Fairfield resident for 48 years prior to moving to Trumbull. She was a graduate of Wilby High School in Waterbury and had worked for the Waterbury Clock Company prior to raising her family.
Osowki was a long-time parishioner of St. Pius X Church, and loved to play bridge, crocheting and baking for her family and friends.…

NORWALK, Conn. – Willie Marvin Fulton, 63, died Monday, June 22.
He was born Nov. 19, 1951, in Kingstree, South Carolina, son of Peggy Singletary Fulton of Norwalk and the late Marvin Fulton. He was married to Chrystle Pollard Fulton of Norwalk and was a self-employed mechanic until retirement.
He is also survived by four daughters, Dana Fulton, Marcie Barrett, Vernicka McNichols and Shanee Fulton; nine grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Louis M. Buzzeo, 100, died Wednesday, June 24.
Born in New York City on Nov. 20, 1914, he was the son of the late Antonio and Filomena Buzzeo.
He graduated from Stamford High School in 1932. He entered the postal service in Feb. of 1939 as a distribution and window clerk at the Stamford Post Office. He enlisted in the infantry of the U.S. Army in March 1941. He served overseas in the Pacific area from 1941 to 1942.
