She was born in Norwalk and was a town resident for the last 40 years. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy of Stamford, Connecticut, and Merrill’s Business College, where she studied business administration. Yolanda will be remembered for her fortitude, sense of humor, devotion to those in need, and her love of the Yankees and animals. Fans were treated to signature Duran Duran songs such as “Rio,” “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Planet Earth.” The band also sang their new song “Pressure Off” from their upcoming album “Paper Gods,” which will be released Sept. 11.
