MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. – Following the second arrest made in an animal cruelty case involving a Mohegan Lake pet shop owned by a Mahopac resident, New York State Sen. Man Slept In Mount Kisco Woman's Garden After Drinking, Police Say
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Westchester County Police were called to the home of a woman on Locust Street Tuesday after she reported a man was asleep in her flower garden, according to the Mount Kisco Police Department. Police arrived at around 6:22 a.m. to respond to the call. The man told the officer he was drinking the night before and stopped in the garden to rest on his way home. Pound Ridge's Clark Preserve Holding Volunteer Session
POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Pound Ridge Land Conservancy is holding a volunteer work session at Clark Preserve Saturday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will help construct segments of a bog bridge over wet areas adjacent to the Clark meadow. Volunteers should wear rubber boots and bring work gloves, a water bottle and a snack. Attendees will meet in the preserve parking lot off Autumn Ridge Road.
