STAMFORD, Conn. – Nancy J. Skura (Annunziata), 94, formerly of Stamford, died Wednesday, July 22 at her home in Las Vegas.
She was born in Stamford April 5, 1921, to the late Antonio and Rose Carella. She grew up and attended schools in Stamford. She worked as a machinist at Holson Company for 10 years before retiring. She loved cooking her Italian dishes, watching the cooking channel, doing puzzles for hours and doing whatever she could for her family.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Carroll P. Tyghter, 59, of Bridgeport, daughter of Sarah Tyghter and the late Sydney Tyghter, died Monday, Aug. 3 at St. Vincent Medical Center.
Born in Falmouth, Jamaica, she was a Bridgeport resident for over 53 years. She was a former customer relations representative for SNET Co., and a supervisor at Stop & Shop in New Haven, Connecticut. She was a parishioner of St. John's Episcopal Church, Bridgeport.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a brother; four sisters; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

WILTON, Conn. – Carolyn Elizabeth (Blain) Miska, 51, of Wilton, died suddenly Saturday, Aug. 1.
Born Aug. 10, 1963, in Bellerose, New York, the daughter of William and Constance (Judd) Blain. She moved to Wilton in 1972, graduated from the Wilton High School in 1981 and went to Norwalk Community College School of Nursing. Her career over the past 20 years was full of joy as a labor and delivery nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Miska; her daughters, Alexandra and Mackenzie; three brothers; a sister and brother-in-law; and 10 nieces and nephews.
