Two Charged In Yorktown With DWI, Endangering Welfare Of Minor YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A man and woman from the Bronx were charged with DWI and endangering the welfare of a child Monday in Yorktown, according to the Yorktown Police Department. Kujtim Dacaj, 45, and Veria Dedusenc, 31, were pulled over on Route 202 after police responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Dacaj was allegedly driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent. Dacaj had a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years. Dacaj also allegedly has a revoked conditional driver’s license and was driving with two children under the age of 15. The…

Bedford Police Launch Drunk-Driving Crackdown BEDFORD, N.Y. – The Bedford Police Department will be conducting extra DWI checkpoints and patrols Friday, Aug. 21 through Monday, Sept. 7 as part of the 2015 Drunk Driving National Enforcement Crackdown – Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. In 2013, alcohol played a part in over 30 percent of all New York State traffic-related deaths, and one in three Americans will be affected by a DWI tragedy. Drivers should make plans accordingly if drinking alcohol – designate a sober driver, call a taxi or spend the night where you are drinking.

He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico, to Juan Otero and Isabel Pineiro.
