There are 260 counties in the U.S. where Lyme disease cases are reported at twice the rate as expected compared to the population size of the county, according to the report. Elmsford PTA Presenting Back-To-School Carnival ELMSFORD, N.Y. – The Elmsford PTA is holding a back-to-school carnival Wednesday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 23 in the Alexander Hamilton Jr.-Sr. High School parking lot. The carnival will be open Aug. 19-21 from 6-10 p.m., Aug. 22 from 4-10 p.m. and Aug.23 from 4-9 p.m. Rides and food will be available during the family-friendly event. Parking is limited; attendees should consider carpooling or walking. Alexander Hamilton Jr.-Sr. High School is located at Cobb Avenue, Elmsford.

The café, owned by Henry and Ana Cabral, who also own the neighboring Tarry Tavern, offers paninis, sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups , pastries and gelato, in addition to a coffee and breakfast menu. Henry Cabral is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has provided patrons with fare at Tarry Tavern and 27 Main Street. Eatarry Café, located at 25 Main St., is open from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
