Lucy Castaldo, 97, Of Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE, N.Y. – Lucy Castaldo 97, of Hawthorne, died Monday, Sept. 7.
She was born July 1, 1918, to the Raphael and Nancy (DeFabio) Mastromonaco in Compobasso, Italy.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald R. (Barbara) Roberto of Congers, New York; Ralph R. Roberto and Daniel A. Roberto, both of Hawthorne; one brother of White Plains; one sister of Congers, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her first husband, Ralph Ronald Roberto, died in 1959, and her second husband, Roland Castaldo, died in 1981. She was also predeceased by a sister and three brothers.

Lucrecia (Lucy) Aviles Of Ossining
OSSINING, N.Y. – Lucrecia (Lucy) Aviles, a 40-year resident of Ossining, died Sunday, Sept. 6.
Born in Puerto Rico in 1933, she lived there until she turned 25, then came to New York.
She married Victor M. Aviles in 1958, and they were together for 23 years until he died in 1981.
She is survived by her seven children and their families, Elba Aviles-Jimenez, Victor Aviles Jr., Yolanda Vazquez, Lisa Aviles, Blanca Aviles-Soler, Robert Aviles and Jessie Aviles-Rodriguez; their spouses; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandsons; and seven siblings.

Donald Trump Looks To Slash Trump National Taxes
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. –Presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford, is looking to slash the property taxes on Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor by 90 percent, reports LoHud.
Property taxes on the 140-acre golf club would drop from $471,000 to $47,000; the neighbors would pick up the $424,000 tab leftover, according to the report.
