Tuition Hikes Proposed For Connecticut's Universities, Community Colleges
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Mark Ojakian, president of the Board of Regents and the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities system, is proposing hefty tuition hikes for the next academic year, according to Connecticut Post.
Ojakian will propose a 5 percent increase to $10,089 for in-state tuition at regional universities and 3.5 percent increase to $4,173 for community colleges, Connecticut Post reported.
Affected schools include Western, Southern, Eastern and Central Connecticut State universities as well as Norwalk, Housatonic and Naugatuck Valley Community Colleges, among others. The incr…
