Jury Deadlocked In Retrial Of Bridgeport Man Charged With Killing Student
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- For the second time, a jury was unable to return a verdict in the case of a 33-year-old Bridgeport man charged with killing and dismembering his college student girlfriend and dumping her remains in Trumbull, the Connecticut Post said.
Jermaine Richards, a private duty nurse in Bridgeport, was charged with murder in the death of Alyssiah Marie Wiley, 20, of West Haven, who went missing on April 19, 2013. Her partial remains were found 27 days later in a wooded area at the end of Quarry Road in Trumbull, about 2 miles from Richards' Bridgeport home.
