'Lost A Good One:' Man Dies 2 Years After Harrowing Attack That Killed His Mom At NJ Home
William "Bart" Trachin has died two years after an attack that left him seriously injured and his mother dead, according to his community.
The Washington Borough man was 53 years old when he and his mother, 84-year-old Elaine Trachin, were attacked at their home in Washington Borough (Warren County), in 2021, as Daily Voice reported.

Northern Virginia Mom Bailey Ross Dies, 25
Bailey Alexis Ross, of northern Virginia, died on Thursday, Oct. 12. She was 25 years old.
According to her obituary, Bailey was born in Warrenton and raised in Marshall, for most of her childhood. She graduated from Skyline High school in Front Royal.
A GoFundMe campaign for Bailey had raised more than $6,700 as of Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Morris County Football Club Treasurer Embezzled $100K, Police Say
The treasurer of a Morris County football club has been charged with stealing more than $100,000, police said.
The Denville Blue Angels' FC treasurer, Gerald Castellano, stole more than $100,000 over an extended time, Denville police said on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
The investigation began on Aug. 21.
Castellano was charged on Oct. 3, with theft by unlawful taking, and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance date at the Morris County Superior Court.
US Marshals Nab North Jersey Home Burglar: Police
A 42-year-old man was captured with help from the US Marshals Service in connection with a recent home burglary in North Jersey, authorities said.
Julio Ponce, of Clifton, is believed to have gone into a Nutley home on Monday, Oct. 9, on Raymond Avenue, and taken a woman's purse from a tabletop around 10 a.m., while she was showering, Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo said.
The woman said she heard loud knocking at her front door. Moments later, she found her back door wide open and her pocketbook gone, police said.
