Two DMV Hospitals Have Busiest Emergency Rooms In America, Report Says Two DMV hospitals have some of the busiest emergency rooms in the nation, according to a new report by Becker's Hospital Review. The list was comprised using data reported by the hospitals themselves, and reflect data from 2022, though start and end dates vary by hospital. While the Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, TX reported the highest number of visits (226,178), Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church reported 162,335 visits, the report says. Police ID Speeding Driver, 25, Killed In Head-On Crash With Tour Bus In Lancaster County Police have identified the 25-year-old sedan driver who died in a crash with a tour bus in Lancaster County early Thursday, Oct. 26. Louis Marotto, of New Holland, was heading north on Hollander Road at a high rate of speed in a Nissan sedan when she swerved into the southbound lane and struck the tour bus head-on, around 2:50 a.m. in Leacock Township on Thursday, Oct. 26, Pennsylvania State Police said. The tour bus operator was not injured, PSP said, and Marotto was pronounced dead at 4:05 a.m., of multiple blunt force trauma, the coroner said.

DUI Motorcyclist Charged In LanCo Crash A 39-year-old motorcyclist was charged with DUI in a September Lancaster County crash, authorities said. Christian Kloppenburg, 39, of East Petersburg, had a blood alcohol level of .132% (the legal limit is .08) when he collided with another motorcyclist on North Reading Road on Sept. 16, East Cocalico police said. Kloppenburg and the other motorcyclist were heading north. Both operators and a passenger were hospitalized. Kloppenburg was charged with DUI.

Victims Of Triple Fatal Loudoun Parkway Crash ID'd Authorities have identified the three people killed in this week's crash on Loudoun County Parkway. Iran K. Hinson, of Las Vegas, was operating a 2023 Dodge Challenger north on the Parkway when he lost control near Shellhorn Road and struck a Toyota Sienna taxi head-on around 10:50 p.m., the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Dejene B. Haye, the driver of the Toyota, of Silver Spring, MD, and James E. Humphrey, the passenger, of Brambleton, VA, both died, as did Hinson. 46 Pounds Of 'Special K' Worth $1.3M Intercepted At Dulles Airport Nearly 50 pounds of animal tranquilizer was found in an air cargo shipment from Cameroon at Washington Dulles Airport earlier this month. The 46 pounds of ketamine was found in five of the seven bags of Garri and Water FuFu, of Cameroon, on Oct. 10, US Customs and Border Protection said. The ketamine weighed 20.87 kilograms, or 45 pounds and 15 ounces, and had a street value of about $1.3 million. The shipment was destined to an address in Washington, D.C. Armed Dog Abuser Leads 12.5-Mile Pursuit-Crash In Fairfax County: Police A 30-year-old animal abuser was arrested after a 12.5-mile police pursuit in Fairfax County, authorities said. Daniel John Sol, of Lorton, approached a person walking their dog on the 9600 block of Eaton Woods Place in Lorton on Tuesday, Oct. 24, around 4 p.m., county police said. Pespas, 55, of Phillipsburg, has been found safe and was home with his wife, Sue, directors Sam Lipman-Stern and Adam Bhala Lough said on Pespas' Instagram account Friday, Oct. 27.
