Westchester's Joe Girardi Adds App Designer To His Resume PURCHASE, N.Y. – Yankees coach and Purchase resident Joe Girardi can now add app engineer to his long list of accomplishments with the release of his new app, “Portalball” coming in August, reports the Wall Street Journal. Girardi first had the thought to create a family-friendly baseball-oriented game two years ago after seeing his children play various games, and after talking to app developer Appetizer Mobile, the idea came to fruition, according to the report. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, June 25, 1937, to John DeMarr and Margaret Hook. She was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in 1958 and a master’s degree from NYU in guidance and counseling. She moved to Connecticut in 1960, and was married to Robert Simpkins. In 1964, she gave birth to their only child, James Bradley (Brad). The work is necessary to upgrade the grade crossing and will be performed by Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company. An arrest warrant was issued June 12 for Deborah A. Mackbrown, 41, in the Town of Carmel Court to answer to her charges. Her last known location is Carmel.
