New Castle League Of Women Voters Notes Presidential Primary Deadlines CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – The New Castle League Of Women Voters reminds those interested in voting for the 2016 presidential primaries will have to act now to change party affiliation and vote in next year’s primary. Those interested must either submit a revised voter registration form or change their affiliation on the MyDMV website by Friday, Oct. 9.  Changes in party affiliation must be registered prior to the general election preceding the primary in which the person wants to vote (before November 2015 to vote in primaries in 2016).

Scarsdale Village Recycling Center Provides New Textile Bin SCARSDALE, N.Y. – The Village of Scarsdale has established a textile recycling program at the Village Recycling Center at 110 Secor Road. To help reduce textile waste, residents are able to deposit their textiles from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays in the new bin. Acceptable textiles include all clothing, shoes, blankets, towels, bed sheets, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Place all acceptable items in tied bags before placing them in the bin.
