Peekskill Mayor Waits For Results Of Independence Line On Ballot

Fair Lawn Opens Safe Exchange Zone For Online Sales
FAIR LAWN, N.J. – With the increase in fraudulent transactions occurring through websites such as eBay and Craigslist, the Borough of Fair Lawn is offering a Transaction Safe Exchange Zone at the Fair Lawn Municipal Building. Transactions can be made during normal business hours under Fair Lawn Police video surveillance. Transactions for larger items can be conducted in the parking lot behind the building, which is also under constant video surveillance. The Fair Lawn Municipal Building is at 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue.

$43K Awarded To White Plains Police For Body Cameras
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded two grants totaling $43,543 to the City of White Plains and the Village of Spring Valley law enforcement for body-worn cameras. MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The nephew of Mount Vernon Mayor Ernie Davis received a no-bid contract totaling $82,000 for work completed for the building department between 2012 and 2014, reports News 12 Hudson Valley.
