Alfred Siss, 96, Of Wyckoff
WYCKOFF, N.J. – Dr. Alfred Siss, 96, of Wyckoff, died Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Siss was born Oct. 8, 1918, to young German immigrant couple August and Augusta Siss. His parents were bakery owners in Paterson. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School and Central High School.
After graduation from New York University as a Phi Beta Kappa scholar, he attended NYU School of Medicine and graduated in 1943. He immediately started his internship at Paterson General Hospital. He married student nurse and his wife of 67 years, Anna Mae Korzinek, in 1944.

Michael J. Ingenito, 94, Of Cliffside Park
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. – Michael J. Ingenito, 94, of Cliffside Park, died Monday, Sept. 28.
He was born in Hoboken and worked as an insurance agent for John Hancock before retiring. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a former member of the Cliffside Park Special Police and the Cliffside Park Pistol team.
He was the husband to Irene (neé) Maita; father to Joseph and his late wife, Margaret; and Michael and his wife, Simone; grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of two.
Michael Peter Persico, 71, Formerly Of Teaneck
TEANECK, N.J. – Michael Peter Persico, 71, of Seaford, Del., formerly of Teaneck, died Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The son of the late Anthony J. Persico, M.D. and Grace N. Persico, he graduated from Xavier High School in New York City, earned his bachelor’s degree at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Mass. and his juris doctorate from the University of Miami.
