STAMFORD, Conn. – Helen K. McNamara, 99, of Stamford, died Thursday, Oct. 22.
She is survived by her son Gregory, married to Ellen, and one grandson.
A service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 325 Washington Blvd., Stamford.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Amadeo Garcia, 73, of Stamford, died Sunday, Oct. 25.
Born in El Guascoran, Valle, Honduras, Garcia was married to Maria (Nena) F. Garcia for 51 years. He came to the U.S. in 1975.
He was an ordained minister at Iglesia Pentecostal El Olivar. For many years, he was the owner of A&N Cleaning Service, which serviced many homes and businesses in Fairfield County.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Eileen Ann Cahill, 79, of Fairfield, wife of Robert F. Cahill, died Monday, Oct. 26.
She was born and raised in Revere, Massachusetts. As her husband's career evolved, she resided in Danvers, Mass.; Camillus, N.Y.; Reading, Mass.; Southport; and McLean, Va., before returning to Fairfield 30 years ago.
A devout Catholic and daily communicant, she had been an active member of St. Pius X Church, where she led the annual St. Pius X Tag sale to benefit Operation Hope for 25 years.

EASTON, Conn. – Joseph C. Stonoha, 94, of Easton, husband of Jeanne Donady Stonoha, died Saturday, Oct. 24.
Born in Bridgeport on March 2, 1921, he was a son of Michael and Anna Kubina Stonoha.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a retired pumper engineer for the City of Bridgeport Fire Department, with 39 years of service. He was a member of the Bridgeport Area Retired Firefighters and was a parishioner of the Jesse Lee United Methodist Church of Easton.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Gloria Esther Flores, 82, of Stamford, died Saturday, Oct. 24 at Stamford Hospital.
Flores was born in Puerto Rico Sept. 8, 1933, to Ramon and Providencia Quinones Flores.
She was a graduate of Morris High School in the Bronx, N.Y. She was employed as an administrative assistant at Union Carbide for many years before her retirement.

NORWALK, Conn. – Linda Glantz Murnick, 75, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, in Norwalk Hospital.
Murnick was born in Bridgeport May 22, 1940, the daughter of Max and Estelle Glantz. She was a lifelong member of Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alan Murnick; two sons, Richard (Susan) of Montclair, N.J.; David (Elissa) of Fairfield; and six grandchildren.
Her eldest son Robert predeceased her.

More Charges Lodged Against Former Brookfield School Official
BROOKFIELD, Conn. – Art Colley, ex-finance chief of the Brookfield Schools, pleaded not guilty to new fraud charges Tuesday, reports Newstimes.
Colley, 58, pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree larceny, one count each of defrauding a public community, second-degree forgery and conspiracy to commit larceny after an investigation into $53,000 in missing school funds, according to the report.
Colley was charged earlier this year with second-degree larceny and third-degree forgery, accused of receiving reimbursement for iPads that were never purchased.
