Traffic Update: Gas Leak Closes Part of Route 146 In Millbury For At Least Another Hour Traffic has come to a halt after a gas main was struck this morning, July 27, by contractors working near Route 146, Exit 10 onto Route 20, and the Mass Pike. The Fire Department is on scene mitigating the leak. Northbound travel lanes on Route 146 are closed and traffic is being diverted to Exit 9. Firefighters estimate that the leak won't be under control for at least another hour. Traffic is backed up for miles.  The story will be updated as more information becomes available.

Police Seek Public's Help To ID Wilbraham Armed Robbery Suspect Wilbraham Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Wilbraham CVS. The alleged theft happened on Wednesday, July 22. On that day, a male threatened a Boston Road CVS cashier with a firearm, which was not shown. The suspect fled west on Boston Road, police said, possibly in a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. Fire Rips Through Mobile Home in Wales The Wales community is rallying around a woman who lost her mobile home to fire Saturday, July 25. The Wales Fire Department responded to report of a fire at Wales Brookside Village Saturday afternoon.
