Police ID Meriden Woman Killed In Head-On Crash An area woman was killed in a head-on crash in Wallingford. Karen Gabriel, 58, of Meriden, was driving on North Main Street Extension on Tuesday, July 28, at around 7:40 p.m. when her car was struck by another vehicle driving through the intersection with Route 68, police said. Gabriel was pronounced dead at the scene. The three passengers in Gabriel’s vehicle and the driver of the other car involved in the crash were transported to the hospital for treatment, police said. The matter is under investigation.

Milford Industrial Complex Sold For $2.2 Million A major industrial complex was recently sold in Milford for $2.2 million. The 53,000-square-foot complex is on 6 acres at 252-262 Deport Road. It was purchased by MNBD, LLC. The principal owners of the company are Leah Aber, of West Haven, and Yisroel Teitlebaum, of Orange. MNBD is registered as a “lessor of nonresidential buildings” company. The property consists of three buildings and was purchased from Kahuna Realty Group. The seller had originally sought $2.9 million for the property. It was built in the late 1970s.
