New Rochelle School Board Schedules Budget, Bond Review Session
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The next Board of Education budget and bond review session will take place in the New Rochelle High School Library on Tuesday, March 15. The session will provide details about educational program priorities and options for addressing upcoming building repairs district-wide. It begins at 7 p.m. The last review session will be held March 22 also at 7 p.m in the high school.

Coastal Fairfield May Experience Flooding At High Tide
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for Fairfield County. Onshore winds and tides are expected to combine to generate minor flooding for areas along the coast during high tide early Tuesday morning. The advisory is in effect from 4-6 a.m. Tuesday.

Brewster HS Students Learn Forecasting From Fox 5 Meteorologist Mike Woods
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Fox 5 News meteorologist Mike Woods recently visited Brewster's C.V. Star Intermediate School to teach fourth-graders about weather forecasts. “It’s been an interesting year, to say the least,” said Woods. “From temperatures in the double-digit, below-zero range during a recent weekend, and the following weekend setting record high temperatures of nearly 60 degrees. Westport Cuts Elm Street Down To One Lane To Take Down Crane
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Traffic on Elm Street in downtown Westport will be restricted to one lane from March 14 to 18 due to construction work. The Elm Street parking lot adjacent to 36 Elm St. will be used to facilitate the dismantling of the crane at the Bedford Square construction site. The street will remain open to allow for access to businesses. Traffic could be stopped for some short periods of time as the work is underway. Orangetown Police Issue IRS Phone Scam Warning
ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- The Orangetown Police Department has issued a warning on the rise of IRS impersonation phone scams. Scammers demand cash payments for allegedly unpaid taxes via prepaid debit cards, money orders or wire transfers. The Internal Revenue Service first contacts taxpayers by mail in regard to owed taxes. The agency would never ask for payments using a prepaid debit card, money order or wire transfer.
