Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Man Stabbed Woman With Scissors, Shot By Police In Central Jersey: Prosecutor A 42-year-old Central Jersey man has been arrested for stabbing a woman with scissors at a hotel, authorities said. Old Bridge police shot the suspect after the stabbing incident at the Hampton Inn at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, authorities said. Aaron Bronfenbrener left his home near Buckelew Avenue in Monroe Township around 7 a.m. Saturday, March 2, police said. "He was found about two hours ago and is home and fine, said Monroe Police Lt. Sergeis Jangols shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday March 4. His mother called police when she discovered he was gone, Jangols said.
