The Ridgewood community is mourning the loss of former football player and student Preston Stott. According to his obituary, Preston died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 18 years old. Reward Up To $8K Offered In 18-Year-Old Baltimore Man's Killing
A reward of up to $8,000 is being offered in connection with the killing of an 18-year-old Baltimore man this week. Hy’main Amos was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body on the 500 Block of North Calhoun Street Tuesday evening, Oct. 3, city police said. Creep Sexually Assaults Child At Prince William County Gathering: Cops
A 40-year-old Virginia man was arrested for sexually assaulting a child, authorities said. Gerver Sipriano Rivera Avila allegedly went into a room where children were playing in a Manassas home on April 16 during a party, and sexually touched the child, under 13 years old, Prince William County police said. Rivera Avila "inappropriately touched the victim more than one time before leaving the room," police said in a release. The victim immediately told a family member, who told police, authorities said. Murder Suspect Called Police To Report Stabbing Before Her Arrest In Virginia: Police
A 41-year-old woman was arrested for murder but not before calling police to report the incident, they said. Joi Camille Storr, of Woodbridge, has been charged with murder and stabbing in the commission of a felony for the incident around 1:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, Prince William County said.
