18-Year-Old New Year's Arsonist Set Fire To Soap Dispenser In Harford Mall Bathroom: Officials An 18-year-old man has been charged with setting a fire inside of a men's restroom at the Harford Mall on New Year's Eve, authorities said. Gabriel E. Wallace, of Bel Air, started the fire that security officers put out in a soap dispenser in a restroom in the mall around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, according to a release from the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office. Mom Of Partially-Clothed Boy Wandering Streets Charged With Child Neglect In Virginia: Cops The mom of a partially-clothed boy found wandering the streets of Prince William County has been arrested, authorities said. Oliva Osei's 8-year-old son was walking in the roadway on Minnieville Road near Cardinal Drive in Woodbridge around 2:10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, Prince William County police said. Virginia Dad Dies In Crash Days Before Welcoming 2nd Child: Family A 28-year-old dad was killed in a Stafford County crash Thursday, Dec. 28 crash, authorities said. Christopher E. Lash, of King George, was not wearing a seatbelt when his 2016 Dodge Journey ran off the left side of Kings Highway east around 2:20 a.m., Virginia State Police said. Lash's vehicle struck an embankment before it overturned and collided with several trees. Lash was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. New Year's Crash Kills 25-Year-Old New Jersey Woman A 25-year-old woman died in a New Year's crash in Middlesex County, authorities said. Louisa Bradlow Carman, of Princeton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:56 a.m. crash at Route 1 and College Road in Plainsboro on Monday, Jan. 1, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Gunfire Rings Out At New Year's Celebration At Newark Lounge: Police Two people were shot at a New Year's celebration in Newark, authorities said. Gunfire rang out around 3 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1, at La Rouge, a lounge on the 900 block of Broad Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Responding police found two victims, both men, who were rushed to University Hospital for treatment. As of press time, one victim was critical and the other was stable, Fragé said. The lounge's social media page shows it had been hosting a New Year's party. The incident remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.

Ezra was born at 11:48 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, while his little brother Ezekial was born at 12:28 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, at Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Camden.
