Girl, Grandmother Killed By Hamilton Fire, Police Say A grandmother and a young girl died after being pulled from a burning home in Mercer County, police said. The fire broke out at approximately 6:07 a.m. Thursday, June 26, on the 200 block of Lynwood Avenue in Hamilton, according to the Hamilton Police Division. A juvenile girl had escaped the home and told police and fire crews that her sister and grandmother were still inside.
