New Jersey Man Charged With DWI In Tappan ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A New Jersey man is facing charges of driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in Tappan this past weekend, Orangetown police said. Justin Abraham, 27, of Williamstown, was arrested around 4:37 p.m. Saturday on Route 303, police said. When he was stopped, Abraham had watery, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol, police said. Abraham failed field sobriety tests and consented to a breath test once back at police headquarters but “failed to provide a sufficient measurable sample after numerous attempts,” police said. Orangetown police said Nicholas Diana, 23, was driving north in the southbound lane of Cedar Street in Nyack on Saturday, July 16. Diana smelled of alcohol and his speech was slurred, police said.
