Patient Charged With Assault For Kicking Nyack Doctor, Police Say
ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A patient at Nyack Hospital was arrested after he kicked a doctor, Orangetown police said.
Robert Hicks, 58, of New City, was being placed on a stretcher at the hospital when he injured his attending physician, police said.
He was charged with second-degree assault and sent to Rockland County Jail on $5,000 bail, police said.
Hospital officials declined to comment on the alleged incident, citing patient confidentiality.
