RYE, N.Y. – Shirley G. Romney, née Gordon, 92, died Saturday, July 11.
She was devoted to family, friends and making the world a better place.
She is survived by her son, Ben and his partner, Ginger Benlifer; daughter Anne Romney (Tim Hayes); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister.
She was predeceased by her husband, Seymour L. Romney and daughter Dana Romney.

Born in Mexico, Maine, she was a local resident for many years. An active and energetic person, she had a lifelong career and hobbies, she was the president of the "Y" Teens Maine Chapter in 1949, and was offered an executive position in New York for the YWCA. FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Frank Anthony Martino, Sr., 78, of Fairfield, husband of 55 years to Vivian Rosso Martino, died Friday, July 10.
Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Nov. 28, 1936, the was son of the late Emilio Martino and Mary Crocco Martino of Italy. He had been a resident of Fairfield for 50 years. He graduated from Central High School, class of 1955 and served in the National Guard for seven years. He was the owner and operator of Buy Rite Market and Giovanni's Delicatessen, and then a longtime manager for Porcelli's in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he retired after 20 years.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Carol D. "Debbie" Henderson, 84, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, died Saturday, July 4 at Maplewood at Newtown.
She was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Genevieve Whelan Henderson. She retired as an executive secretary for Sikorsky Aircraft.
Survivors include her cousins, Richard Coburn (Jeanette) of Pennsylvania, formerly of Connecticut; Jacqueline Denton (Frank) of Connecticut; and Lorraine Ward (Donald) of Massachusetts; and several second cousins.

She was the daughter of Lorraine Rogers of Stratford, Connecticut, and the late Frank Rogers. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, loved children, animals, shopping and baking.
She is survived by her daughters Sherry Heitz (Karl) and Rondi Payne (Tim); a brother and a sister; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
