He was born in Cosenza, Italy, in 1926. After immigrating to America in 1973, he resided in Bronx, New York, until moving to Fairfield in 2014. He enjoyed playing Bocci, Italian card games and spending time with his family. Mahopac Woman Charged With Failure To Appear In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Mahopac woman was arrested Friday on a bench warrant issued by Yorktown Justice Court, according to the Yorktown Police Department.  Danielle M. Carey, 27, allegedly failed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Thursday for a scheduled court appearance related to a petit larceny case. She was taken into custody at the Cortlandt Town Court Friday on an unrelated matter. After being processed at Yorktown Police Department, she was released and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Thursday, Aug. 20.

Brian M. Porteus, 41, allegedly drove his white Kia through a steady red light at the intersection of Route 6 and Sunnyside Street. Fast Toll Collection Coming To Tappan Zee Bridge WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – An all-electronic toll collection (AETC) system will be activated for the Tappan Zee Bridge in spring 2016, according to the New NY Bridge updates.
