Patterson Man Charged With Unlicensed Operation In Route 311 Stop
PATTERSON, N.Y. – A Patterson man was arrested Monday for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. David A. DiMaggio, 60, of 1005 Route 311, was found to have a suspended license after a trooper responded to a call for a disabled vehicle on Route 311. DiMaggio was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor, officials say. He was processed at the scene and released in his own recognizance pending a Tuesday, Oct. 20 appearance in the Town of Patterson Justice Court, according to the rep…

Westlake Wildcats Raising Awareness, Money To Fight Cancer
THORNWOOD, N.Y. – Westlake Wildcat football players and cheerleaders will participate in raising awareness for childhood cancer by raising money for the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation at the Wildcat Spirit Fundraising Day Sunday, Sept. 27 at Westlake High School. The first games begin at 8 a.m. and continue until about noon. Approximately 200 athletes will be participating. WESTPORT, Conn. – Sheila Carey has been appointed the new controller for the Town of Westport, effective Sept. 1. The position has been vacant since Aug. 1, when Controller Ken Alexander died suddenly.
