Cortlandt Man Charged With Throwing Ceramic Bowl At Woman CORTLANDT, N.Y. – A Cortlandt man was arrested Tuesday after throwing a ceramic bowl at a woman during a domestic dispute, New York State Police said. Alvin T. Banks, 52, was charged with assault in the second degree. The victim suffered a large laceration, according to officials. Banks was arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. He is due to re-appear in Cortlandt Court Friday, according to the report.

Ralph R. Bocuzzo, 86, Of Stamford STAMFORD, Conn. – Ralph R. Bocuzzo, 86, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died Tuesday, Nov. 3 at his home. He was born March 21, 1929, in Stamford, and was one of two sons born to the late Sandy and Carmella (Sileo) Bocuzzo. He was born and raised in Stamford and was a graduate of Stamford High School. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and was deployed overseas to serve during the Korean War. He was a decorated soldier and very proud of his service to his country.
