Stamford Man Charged With Sexually Abusing 16-Year-Old Boy He Met On Snapchat A Fairfield County man is behind bars following his arrest on child exploitation charges for allegedly sexually abusing a 16-year-old boy. Rick Marro, age 42, of Stamford was charged on Thursday, Jan. 18 following an investigation into the allegations made by the boy in August 2023, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Marro appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge S. Dave Vatti in Bridgeport and was ordered detained, Avery said. CT Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Juvenile A Connecticut man has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile in the past. New Haven County resident John MacSweeney, age 39, of Waterbury, was charged on Sunday, Jan. 15 after turning himself in to Milford Police. Milford Police said MacSweeney was developed as a suspect after receiving a complaint in Oct. 2023 that a juvenile had been sexually assaulted in the past. Hudson Valley Drunk Driver Nabbed Following High-Speed Chase, Police Say A Hudson Valley alleged drunk driver was nabbed after taking police on a high-speed chase through multiple jurisdictions. The incident took place in Dutchess Couty around 11:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14 in the town of Poughkeepsie. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Scott W.
