Fatal Crash: 27-Year-Old CT Woman ID'd As Victim A 27-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a crash involving a pedestrian on a busy Connecticut roadway. The crash occurred in Hartford County around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29 on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. The victim, Katelyn Bruke, of Wethersfield, was struck by a vehicle near the Wren Kitchen, according to the Newington Police. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.  The vehicle's driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police. The Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad is investigating the crash.…

24-Year-Old Accused Of Stabbing Another Woman In Riverhead A Long Island woman was charged with assault after allegedly stabbing another woman during an altercation. The incident took place in Riverhead around 7:15 p.m.,  Thursday, Feb. 29 in the area of Osborn Avenue. Riverhead Police Det. CT Man, 25, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Identified Police have released the identity of a 25-year-old Connecticut man killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash. Tolland County resident James Faulkner, of Vernon, was killed on Tuesday, Feb. 27 during a crash with a 2018 Infiniti Q50 on Prospect Street in Vernon. According to Lt. Robert Marra of the Vernon Police, the driver of the Infiniti fled the scene after hitting Vaulkner's motorcycle. The crash occurred in Orange County around 1 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27 on I-87 in Woodbury killing Otsego County resident Erika J. Gargan, age 36, of Schuyler Lake.
