18-Year-Old Found Shot Dead Inside Apartment In Bridgeport Police in Fairfield County are investigating following the shooting death of an 18-year-old man found inside an apartment. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7 in the 300 block of Olive Street. Bridgeport Police responded to the area on a report of a person shot, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police. Officers found the teen on the floor inside a first-floor apartment of a multi-family home. Police Raid 3 Illegal Pot Shops In Hudson Valley Police raided three alleged illegal pot shops in the region with warrants after receiving complaints from residents. The raids took place on Tuesday, March 5 at the following locations in the city of Poughkeepsie: 13 Academy St. 25 Academy St. 196 Main St. According to Det. Sgt. Terrance Beam of the Poughkeepsie Police, the unlicensed dispensaries that allegedly sold pot were searched after police received complaints from residents and issues with parking. UConn Student Dies After Falling From Campus Parking Garage A UConn student died after falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement below. The incident occurred in Tolland County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 7 at the college in Storrs. According to Stephanie Reitz, director of communications for the college, UConn police and fire personnel responded following reports of a person falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement. New Canaan Woman Nabbed For Driving Under Influence Of Drugs, Police Say A Fairfield County woman has been charged with allegedly driving under the influence of drugs after a vehicle crash. Patricia Pamela Petraglia, age 71, of New Canaan, was found sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of a Silvermine Road residence on Monday, March 4 after leaving a crash in Darien. According to Lt.
