Connecticut Teen Charged With Murder After Victim Dies From Injuries An 18-year-old is being charged with murder after the victim of a “serious assault” died due to injuries. Terrence Johnson, 18, of West Haven, was arrested sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 3, and charged with murder, West Haven Police said. The charge against Johnson stems from an Oct. 31 “serious” assault in the area of Washington Avenue and Elm Street in West Haven, police said. Unregistered Sex-Offender Discovered Living In MA Suburbs An un-registered sex-offender has been located in a quiet, suburban neighborhood and arrested by police. On Thursday, Nov. 5, police arrested Level 3 sex-offender Gerry A. Lewis, 63, of West Springfield, on a charge of failure to register as a level 2 or level 3 sex-offender, police said. Lewis had allegedly been living on Sibley Avenue in West Springfield for two months without registering his new address, police said. Seen Him? Police Seek Help Finding Missing 12-Year-Old Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old. On Thursday, Nov. 5, around 9 a.m., Grafton Police issued the call for help finding Nicholas Baell. Baell, 12, left his residence from the Nottingham neighborhood in Grafton, Massachusetts, around 11 p.m. Wednesday and has not returned, police said. Hunters Accused Of Using Donuts To Lure Bear Face Charges Criminal charges have been filed against hunters who allegedly killed a 200-pound bear they attracted using barrels of food such as donuts, molasses, and corn. The charges stem from an incident the Massachusetts Environmental Police in Western Massachusetts witnessed, police said. Failure To Report Sex Abuse Involving Students Gets 2 School Admin Arrested The executive director and chief business officer of a special education school have been arrested for failure to report students’ claims of sexual abuse. On Oct. 28, Milford Police arrested David Feldman, 57, and Barbara Feldman, 74, of Shelton, on warrants for their arrests, police said. The Feldmans run Woodhouse Academy where Barbara is the director and David is the business officer. Woodhouse was established in 2002 and is a special education day school. One Suspect Arrested, The Other Dead Following Armed Mugging Police have arrested one of two suspects involved in an armed mugging over the summer - the other suspect is dead. On Oct. 28, Karon Grimes, 19, of New Britain, was arrested on the charges of robbery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, larceny third-degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree, Southington Police said. Covid-19: Pet Valu Closing All US Stores Pet Valu is closing all of its stores in the United States starting Thursday, Nov. 5. On Wednesday, Nov. 3, in a press release owners said the economic impact of COVID-19 has forced their decision to close 358 stores across the nation. On Wednesday, Nov. 4, Milton Javier Cardona-Guevara, 34, was charged with one count of illegal re-entry into the United States after deportation, according to the U .S.
