Two men have been arrested and 142 pounds of marijuana have been confiscated, the Springfield Police said. The bust happened as the result of a fire on the 700 block of Liberty Street at a two-story building - a business on the bottom, apartment on the top. Worcester Priest/Holyoke Teacher Gets Prison For Child Pornography Charge A former Holyoke kindergarten teacher and Worcester priest has been sentenced to six years in prison for possession of child pornography. Gregory Lisby, 40, of Worcester, was sentenced on Friday, Sept. 18, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts, said. In February, Lisby pled guilty to a charge of possession of child pornography. Lisby was the rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Worcester, 2015 to 2018. A fire in the Potash Brook area of the Natchaug State Forest in Windham was extinguished in the evening on Thursday, Sept. 17. Body Of Missing Boater Recovered With Aid Of Water-Sniffing K9 Emergency responders have recovered the body of a missing boater from Dark Brook Reservoir. The body was discovered on the morning of Friday, Sept. 18. At a little after 11 a.m., Auburn Deputy Fire Chief Glenn Johnson announced the discovery of the body in the Auburn lake. On Friday, Sept. 18, Hartford Police said they have recovered another five stolen vehicles and one stolen firearm. The recovered cars are from Simsbury Storrs Berlin West Hartford Longmeadow, MA.
