Motorists are advised that two lanes on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway, between Route 100C and the Interstate 287 East exit toward White Plains will be closed through 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, while crews perform important maintenance activities. The closures began at 5 p.m. Friday, April 6. Motorists are advised to expect significant delays. Traffic Congestion Alert Issued For White Plains Area
Heads Up! Traffic congestion is projected to impact access to White Plains from Tarrytown Road, also known as Route 119 in Greenburgh. On Wednesday, April 4, work was to begin on two bridges that carry Metro-North commuter trains over Main Street and Hamilton Avenue in White Plains. Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney said, "The MTA will be undertaking a major renovation of the White Plains Metro-North train station."
