Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Pennsylvania Man Tries To Carjack Vehicle In South Jersey A 23-year-old man from Pennsylvania was arrested after an attempted carjacking in Cherry Hill, authorities said. Paul Adams of Darby, PA, was charged with carjacking and robbery, Cherry Hill police said. Adams allegedly approached a car stopped in traffic at about 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 10 and yelled at the driver to get out, police said. The driver pulled away as Adams tried to open the door and yank the man out of his car, police said. The driver flagged down a police officer. Camden County Mom, Grandmother Kristen Emdin 'Embraced Life's Simple Pleasures' Kristen T. Emdin died on Feb. 10 in Clementon, according to an obituary published by Inglesby Funeral Home. She was 47 years old. The Camden native spent her "cherished years" in Mount Ephraim "where she embraced life's simple pleasures, such as bike riding with her beloved husband, Todd Emdin," her obituary said. She is survived by two children, Devin Townsen and Walter Whitman, and two grandchildren, Octavius and Mazikeen Michael.
